*** Punkin's Night Out ***
Punkin, a big gray house cat with long silky fur, and paws that look like small snowshoes, escapes the house and runs into the barnyard to play. Punkin stays outside too long. She soon gets lost in the dark, cold, and wet fog. With paws sore from walking too far, and a stomach growling from hunger, Punkin decides she's had enough freedom. When suddenly--red glowing eyes appear in the darkness!
A delightfully, heart-warming story, a second through fourth grader, can read again and again. The illustrations are very nice and in shades of grey. The type is large so young readers can handle it on their own, and the pages in this book are exceptionally sturdy.
